Tipat Blayag is one of the most famousSingaraja’s traditional foods. Pengelatan village is well known as the place who found the first recipe of tipat blayag. From the ancient, people from this village are conserving the recipe until now. How they make it? The main part of a portion of tipat blayag is the ‘tipat’. Tipat is almost the same with entil. They both made by rice but the difference is on how the rice get covered.
If we make entil, we”ll use nyelep leaf as the cover, but if we want to make tipat we”ll use coconut leaf. Both of it also cooked in the same way, steamed. After the tipat finished we”ll just have to combined it with the vegetables (traditional urap), chicken, and traditional spices.
